Gendarme AS Balm

I've tried Gendarme and love the scent as an EdT. Has anyone tried the AS Balm?

Does the scent match? How does it perform?

$40 is quite a lot for me and would like to have as much info on it before I go ahead and buy.

I sniffed it the other day at Nordstroms and it smelled like Gendarme. I don't like balms so I didn't put any on.
