Gem Bullet Tip VS. Ever Ready 1924

I curious how the Gem Bullet tip shaves compared to the Ever Ready 1924? I see in photos that the blade is placed close to the bar which I like and is similar to the 1924. I get excellent shaves from it and I'm just curious to see what I can get from a similar razor with a longer handle. I'm considering getting a Bullet Tip (Flying Wing). Some men Don't like the 1924. I do. I have now problems with it. Sometimes it won't pick up very very short stubble or maybe I just need to change blades. Other than that, I have no problems with it. I just want to see what I can get from the Bullet Tip.

The Bullet Tip is the mildest razor in the Micromatic family it feels and shaves smoothly. The Bullet Tip also has pretty good weight (if you like heavy razors). The Bullet Tip shaves as mild as the later Gem models but shaves quite thoroughly. IMO between the 1924 & the Flying Wing the 1924 razor is the more aggressive of the two.

When I started using using SE razors I too had trouble with stubble being left behind but once my technique was spot on the problem was solved. Also, make sure that your facial hair is moistened (shave prep) you might want to pull/stretch your skin when shaving. The 1924 requires that you have the right angle or else the shave will not be satisfactory.
