Funny thought

Think it is funny that now i will rate whether or not an antique/flea market is good, based on if they have any old shaving gear. I got frustrated today, because the couple I went into had nothing.

I know what you mean. I've gotten pretty good at giving booths a quick scan for shaving mugs and pipe racks. That's why I had to join the 2012 SPP Sabbatical, I was getting too good at spotting shaving mugs...

same here.
first Sunday of every month there's an antique street market here. I've lived here for four years and never had an interest to go until I got into straight razors.

I see you're stationed at Dyess. that was my first base, how do you like it there?

It is a good area. We do not like the heat too much. We are going to England in November.

this weekend was the first time i went out on the hunt. hit up about 6 yard/estate sales and zero shaving gear. i was not pleased to say the least. ill give it a couple more weekends and see what i come up with.

I am visiting family in Alabama, and have been to 3 flea/antique markets. There has been only one rusted up straight razor tht I could not see the price on.
