Does anyone have this same Brush and Scuttle Set from the House of Fuller? This was an unopened NOS gift last year.
Is the knot that comes on this brush Boar, Nylon or something else? I think it's Boar but need to have it confirmed. My 8 other shaving brushes are all different flavors of Badger.
This knot is lighter on color than my Badgers. After having it in my rotation for almost a year it really hasn't bloomed. It's not much wider than in this photo. In fact I had already used it for about a week as you see it in this photo.
The very tips (16th of an inch or less) have developed split ends as others have described in Boar bristles. It has strong backbone and it's kinda soft. Not as soft as the badgers of course.
Please help!!! This has been nagging me for a year now.
