Does anyone feel this way? ALL of my aftershave, after the bottles get a bit low...they seem to smell different.

I shake my AS before each use, just to be sure the ingredients are well mixed.
It could be due to Oxidation (more air in the bottle), if you have a sensitive sniffer and a lot of *** in rotation you may be able to detect this.
You mean they smell different in the bottle?.... or after you apply them?

They actually smell different in AND out! Like, AquaVelva for one...it smells darker to me in my bottle that is only 1/4 full, and on my skin it seems to have more of this leathery/musky note, whereas my newer bottle that is full is more minty. Same with Skin Bracer, it has gotten darker to my nose. I don't understand it! I would say I am just crazy, but I've even compared it 
Must be alcohol evaporation, concentrating it slightly more.

Might be! I'll try to shake them a little, but who knows. I tighten the caps pretty good (obviously not for Skin Bracer), so it may need a shake. It seems like the more complex scents are affected. The Pinaud Bay Rum hasn't changed much (maybe spicier?). It's like the top notes wear off.

You're not crazy. I'd say it's very common to detect a different scent when applied to the skin compared to in the bottle. It's less concentrated on your skin and it reacts to your own personal "odor" somewhat. I've never noticed a difference in the full bottle vs. half full bottle though. Interesting observation.

funny , i was just thinking this yesterday, my special reserve is not as strong as a fresh bottle

I shook the container, smells a LITTLE different. But, it's not that the bottle and skin scent smells different, I'm saying it literally smells different either way from the older bottle (and by older I mean six months compared to a month or so).
