Fruit Carving tools

My oldest daughter is in Culinary classes in college and is really enjoying fruit carving. Seems to be a natural at it. Any recommendations on a set of tools I can surprise her with for Christmas?

I have not seen one brand better than the other for those. Some are just bigger or have more pieces. I keep saying I'm going to get one but I don't need one at my current place of employment.

How about the Flexcut Carvin Jack ? It is not really fruit carving, but it is carving and is really nice and unexpected, I think.

they get bigger and more expensive. Shopping aroudn can find them for less. In valuable and should last a lifetime in a professional kitchen. Be more worried about them walking away over wearing out.

Not to say you can't get it done with this

The carvin jack would be frowned upon in professional kitchens. Too many places for icky sticky stuff to get into. Watermelon and other fruit sculpting gets sticky stuff everywhere and it would be hard to clean out all the nooks and crannies.
