At my local walgreens, there are bottles of witch hazel that are free after a mail in rebate. I think the brand was dickenson's, and it had the rebate form attached to the top of the bottle... good luck.
One thing is that it doesnt smell anything like thayers, it smells very metallic... Although the ingredients are only witch hazel and alcohol.
OK, "Noob" question but what is this used for? why? and when??
You apply it to your face after you shave as an astringent, antiseptic and skin toner. It works quite well and I use it all the time.
Do you splash it on with your hands or do you use some sort of applicator like a cotton ball?
