Hmm...that's disturbing. Could it be asbestos to help protect against burn?
Just checked. Though mine is just a sample, I see no fibers.

oh my...now im getting a bit worried...in the bottle, they look just like thin, fiber optic wire that has been cut into ~ 1 cm pieces..probably about 200 in there, but they all sink to the bottom until the bottle has been disturbed.
Maybe bits of plastic leftover from production?
mine also had the fibers in it. I bought it in July 2009 from a Long Island NY based vendor........
Silk fibers perhaps?
Probably brain worms added by big shaving companies that burrow in through your flesh and take control of your mind, leading you to buy cheap and poorly made shaving products.
