Found my favorite Soap

CADE !!!!!
I can get a super lather in 30 seconds !!!!
No dyes or synthetic scents etc....
I am delegating the rest of my shaving pucks to shower duty. I found a winner

Yes - Metal bowl should be fine.

I would take it out and put it in the bin separately. That way they can inspect it without tearing the rest of your stuff apart.

Good idea. Its annoying when they always inspect my Stainless Feather, using their dirty dirty gloved hands to touch it.

Bruce Willis,

Cade is a very good soap. I have it and I like it quite a bit as well, performance is just good but the Cade scent is amazing.

If you're willing to try a few more....
Maybe try one of these next, in my opinion these are truly excellent soaps and in my opinion perform on much higher level than the Cade, I don't know about the dies or synthetic scents though, I just know that I've tried over 60 soaps and these are definitely in my top 5:

Strop Shoppe Special Edition w/tallow - the Barbershoppe scent is amazing, I really like the peppermint too. One month wait time from ordering until you get it.

PannaCrema - Very limited quantities and always sold out. I have Vetiver and Lavandotto that I purchased from The Old Town Shave Shop at Stats in Pasadena CA they have it in stock. Call to order.

Barrister & Mann - I like the Nocturne and the Bay Rum scents. Easiest of these three soaps to get and almost as good as the other two.

If you want an all natural vegan soap LA Shaving Co is supposed to be excellent, I haven't tried it yet myself but plan to soon.

Thank you,

Got a puck in the den, just waiting for a tin of Mike's to be finished off. Sweet looking bowl, hard on the wallet though.

What soaps are being demoted to the shower, btw? Just curious...

It's a good soap with a fantastic scent, but not among my favourite. I find its lather to be thick, stable and wonderful smelling, but glide is only OK for me when using straights.

I'm a fan of CADE as well, I'm currently working my second puck down to the bottom of the bowl. I'm a DE shaver, and I don't have any problems with glide, I just get a nice thick comfortable lather that gives me a good shave and keeps my face feeling great. The scent is fantastic too.

Trumpers Rose can't get a decent lather. AOS sandalwood, burns my face quite a bit.

Loves a smelly brush
Congrats! I'm still on the hunt. I also can't say I have found any soaps that work equally well with both straight and DE razors.

Cade is made by L'Occitane. They sometimes have stores in some of the nicer shopping malls or their products may be puchased at some Nordstroms or online at the L'Occitane store.

Sweet there is one about 15 minutes away, I think I'll try it. Any ideas on where I could keep the puck? I don't have a mug/tin for soaps...
