What's new

For the pipe smokers among us

I have smoked a pipe, in moderation for about 2 years now. I have discovered a pipe maker that for my money is the best around. Mark Stewart @ www.pipecraft.org hand makes pipes that are on par with any of the bigger names out there at a fraction of the cost.. I know a few of you on here are members of SMOKERS FORUMS and can vouch for his work.

I am not affiliated with him, just a fan of his work and want to pass along info. He also has a pretty good selection of estate pipes for pennies on the dollar. I have about a dozen pipes now that he has made for me and with all the recent pipe/cigar threads here..........

I've been eyeballing his work for a few weeks. It looks like quality stuff, I'll have to drop him a line.

I'm telling ya, you will not be disappointed! !st rate pipes and a first rate guy to deal with! Tell him I sent ya

This is a thread that I did NOT need to see right now...

Come to the dark side

Let me just say this. Mark's pipes are so good, I have gotten rid of all of my other pipes that were from different maunufactures. That includes Rinaldo, Brebbia, Ardor...GONE. Ne need for them anymore Mark is the man.

I've broken in a lot of pipes with Walnut. But any more I tend to use whatever I think I'm likely to smoke in it on a regular basis. Give us a hint on what you might be looking for and more specific recommendations will surely follow.

I have gotten a few estate pipes from Mark and I can say it was the best transaction I have ever had on the internet. Plus the pipes are top notch too.

Walnut seems to sound pretty good. I love single malt scotch on Fridays and spiced rum on holidays. Any suggestions on a blend that would go well with either of those? And my favorite cigars are maduros. What do you experienced smokers think? Do you know any trusted online briar shops? Where I am, the only place to get pipe tobacco, your also likley to be buying hashish. Some seedy head shop out here in the desert.

Now I need to find some really good tobacco for seasoning. Any suggestions?

Tobacco Trader's Savannah...mild aromatic, great flavor, burns cool, stays lit, no bite...if you call them you can get a free one ounce sample...
