For face lathering, how can I have a warm lather?

I've been bowl lathering and enjoy having warm lather on my face. Since last week I've tried face lathering but the brush gets cold so I end up with cold lather. Just wondering if it's possible to have warm lather.

You can try to load your soap a little dryer, and dip the tips in hot water before each pass.

Get a dense brush and soak in hot water and put hot water on top of your soap to warm it up as well. Using these two methods I have warm lather for the first pass at least and will use my re-purposed brush scuttle for the winter to keep it warm. With the seasonal rise in temperature I am finding I actually prefer to have my lather less warm.

Here's an example of the aforementioned brush scuttle...the first shot is with DB 1.5 for a size reference.

If I'm face lathering I soak the brush in warm water while in the shower. If I'm using a shaving stick it gets to soak in my lather bowl too. While I'm drying off I turn on the hot water at the basin. When I'm ready to lather I hold the soaked brush under the hot tap water to re-warm it before I shake out excess water. Then I close the drain and let the hot water flow into the bowl. The water in the basin will be about the right depth as I finish up the first lathering. I dump the bowl and put the brush into it. The hot water in the basin keeps the brush warm and allows my lather bowl to do double duty as an improvised brush scuttle. The bush is actually warmer for the second pass than it was for the first.

Find a small glass, put it in your sink, fill you sink with hot water untill it almost reaches the brim of the glass, put your brush in the glass while you shave between lathering. I use a taster glass I picked up at a local brewery. Works pretty well and only cost $2

I improvise a brush scuttle with a small, ceramic coffee cup set inside a ceramic bowl. Fill both with hot water, then put the brush into the cup. Dash hot water on top of the soap. Still end up with a luke-warm (at best) shave, though dipping the tip of the brush in hot water from the faucet helps. Really would like it warmer!

For Face Lathering i left some drops of hot water to fall in the surface of the soap tin
I let them "work" for a minute to make it softer
I soak a little bit my brush in hot water,i rinse and then start loading from the soap.
From time to time a small dip to add water before swirling.

I am a face latherer with I think decently warm lather. I soak the hairs until fully wet, shake the excess water to my desired amount, and lather out of my C&E wood soap dish, then develop my true dense lather on my face. I have certainly never had a cold lather! Don't give up, the world of face lathering is a beautiful place :)
