Went to a flea market this weekend and found an old razor I just couldn't pass up. It was in a box with a bunch of mixed junk and cost me a whopping $2.00. I'm definately no expert on old razors, but I'd consider it to be in good condition. I cleaned it up and went to our excellent Wiki here on B&B to get an idea of type and age. As best as I can tell, it's a late 40's Superspeed. No date code on this razor.
So anyway, I tried it out for the first time tonight. Loaded it with a fresh Astra blade, lathered up, and gave it a whirl. It did a nice job and was very enjoyable to use. I now have two Superspeed razors, but don't think that will be enough. I need to find another flea market next weekend and see what else I can find.
