Mandatory to anyone with RAD, I finally got my first W&B not long ago. Its almost full hollow, I'm surprised as I was expecting it to be closer to a wedge, and I hadn't seen many hollow W&B online. I removed most of the rust but left some traces of it. I actually like the look it gives on the shank/tang. However for the blade I would've prefered to whipe it away but since the blade is very thing I prefered not to push my luck.
The scales were actually broken at the pivot on one side, however there was still enough room left so I shortened them and kept the same ones. I'm still unsure, I may re-scale them in horn at some point, but for the moment I'm happy. Hopefully I'll find the time to hone it up later on and give it a try:
I did my first "stacked" pins on this one. I like the look. I'm having trouble getting a nice shiny look on the washers though...the pins are mirror-like but its hard to get the washers shined up with the cloth, i just goes over it. Any one has a special trick for this?
