I love the Trafalgar and 1805 scents, but you may not.

As for smaller brushes, I am the king. I heartily recommend the Simpsons Case as a good all around workhorse. 18mm knot, great with soaps and creams, face and bowl lathering, and it comes with a travel tube. All for $56.

And most importantly...

Welcome.

My choice would be Grafton for that really special masculine treat.

1805 is a crowd pleaser though, but to my nose it's almost unscented if that's your thing.

Can't go wrong with any purchase IMO. Enjoy!

Enjoy the experience. I am a big fan of T+H products and actually shaved this morning with WI Limes Shave Cream and a T+H Rooney brush. Keep your eyes open and try as many things as you can- it is the appropriate time to be a "kid in a candy store".
Welcome to B+B!

Thank you for responding...I can't wait to go (I tend to go overboard with things like this!). I appreciate your input.

+1 on the Trafalgar. Great scent and crazy smooth creme that creates a great lather with just a small dollop. I visited the Chicago store last December and even though it was small in size, I must have spent an hour in there looking at everything and smelling all the creams and lotions. Have fun!

You'll be able to smell the creams there hopefully, so get whatever tickles your fancy. Grafton's my personal favorite. The T&H branded Rooney brushes are a great value. I think they offer a straight razor shave there, so that's what i would be excited about getting.

I have a T&H Wellington brush , faux porcellain handle, and is great for cremas, the Grafton and 1805 are great scents, the Grafton is deep, woody, and the 1805 more citrusy and fresh. Good stuff.

Again I want to thank everyone for taking the time to reply... I am very excited to go. You know, you get to be my age (48) and you really crave traditional male luxuries and traditions! Life gets so fast... this helps me slow down and savor!!!

Another vote for grafton!

FWIW, if you were thinking of getting a shave there, you may want to rethink it. I was there about 2 yrs ago and got a very painful messy shave. Much better talent at AOS @ Mandalay Bay, IMHO. 'Course things may have changed since then.

While you're out there also check out AOS in general. One at Mandalay Bay and one at the Fashion Mall. I'm not sure if the Fashion Mall gives shaves, however.

ive been to art of shaving... not for the shave... just to browse... I really like it. Usually stay at Caesars. I was wondering who would offer the best straight razor shave???

IMHO, AOS, but I haven't been shaved at either place for a couplea years.
