So far so good. Gave a great shave. Had a couple insignificant weepers around the middle of the neck. Had a very slight roughness at the neck and jawline when feeling atg. I've always had trouble with this area because to shave atg I have to shave from the outside of the neck towards the middle which is difficult for me.
First shave with the Merkur 39c slant.

There is no law that says you need to go ATG, you can get great results without it (maybe a bit harder but it can be done).

You might find as you work through your first few shaves the blade will smooth out and those annoying little micro weepers will go away for the duration of the blade life.

Great! The thing is to give yourself awhile to dial in any new shaver, select the best blade, etc.
