Finley got my merkur 23c and persona blades(blue) yesterday and did my shave today after a hot shower, put some mb nuemann absolute zero shave cream in the bowl and went at it. It lathered up ok a little more lather than you would get using your fingers which that back of the bottle says you can do, any way did 2 wtg passes and did a 3rd xtg and i got no nicks or cuts so i say i did pretty good and i am smooth.once i get more use to the angle i will go atg for my neck, also might try the merkur blade to see the difference between the two blades but i am sure the persona is ok cause i have no irritation.
