First Shave With Rockwell 6c

Finally got my Rockwell 6c and had my first shave. Used the 3 plate. Really nice shave, really enjoyed it. Best shave in awhile. I see why they are so popular.

My only problem has been that on part of my neck near the midline my hair grows straight horizontally. When I shave ATG in those areas I ALWAYS get a bunch of nicks and weepers. Now, a smart man would just let it be. But I’m not smart. So my first shave had the downside of multiple nicks but I think that’s on me. The rest of the shave was like butter.

Congratulations !!

When I got mine, I started with #4 and experienced some nicks. Than I shifted to #2 and realize that it's too mild for me (when I use Feather Blades I still use #2 in order to be safe side, if not I'll be on nick side ). Now I use #3 which works well for me on my daily shaves. My favourite blade is Voskhod very smooth with #3.

I've found that nicks can be blade-related. A Gillette Silver Blue blade will probably fix most nicks or cuts.
