Just won this on the 'bay, never have tried one, now I just have to wait 10 to 14 days coming from Canada. Maybe I'll forget I won it and it will be like an unexpected suprise!

Nice score! I just got a couple gold plated gillettes myself. Just don't use fritz metal polish or silvo polish on it since it took off all the old lacquer and gold on the head down to the copper on mine...it was pretty ratty to begin with so no biggie, but yours looks pretty cherry.
This is a great razor. You will enjoy these shaves.
Looks like a nice set. The Aristocrat has become my favorite Gillette and sits at the ready to be used daily. They are lovely shavers in my opinion and built like tanks.

It's an odd, but good shave. Feels like a little tiny bit of blade sticking out from this big, blocky head.
