Finally Scored a Birth Year!

I found a D-1 1983 Black Handle Gillette on the 'bay. I had previously almost settled for a D-3, but hoped to hold out for the quarter as well. Showed SWMBO the link, next thing I know she sends me a text saying get ready to shave with it when it gets here. Its safe to say that I've found a keeper in her. She's even gotten into helping me pick out soaps and creams and the suck. I'm extremely excited and truly fortunate right now, gents. I'll post some pictures when it arrives.

Enjoy your new razor. I love using my birth year, too. Right now it's out for replating; cannot wait for it to get back, in 3-5 weeks. Not that I'm counting or anything.

Congrats on the birth razor. Mine is on the way back from getting end caps and a replate job from Krona Kruiser. Actually, tracking says it should be at my door any minute.
