Finally found Irisch Moos sticks!

After checking both Amazon and Ebay almost daily for weeks, late last night I scored this lot of shaving goodness on Ebay. I've always wanted to try the Moos stick - I can't wait to receive this in the mail! There is a tube of Tabac in there, too... now I'll get the chance to place my two cents into the Tabac scent debate. I'm not a fan of creams... so keep your eyes peeled for a PIF or two, B&B'ers!

I saw that auction. I thought it was overpriced at ~$30.00 per stick when one of those sticks was used.

Ditto.
Had a couple of members here offering them up at inflated prices after it was discontinued too.
At the time I didn't realize it was against the TOS.

It's good soap, I love it, and have one more stick to mill once my current bowl is empty, but I will not be buying it again unless it goes back into production.
Same for AOS tallow soaps.... I see no need to get myself "hooked" on a product that will no longer be available.
If I'm already hooked on it, then sure, I'll hoard it.

Overpriced? It was around 20 bucks per item, and the stick that was used is 98% full. I'd happily pay that price again. How much was it when it was being sold? I know the cream goes for roughly $20... Well, whatever - I personally don't really care. I was just happy to find some Moos.

IM is a great soap. It will last a LONG time if you use it every few shaves. Don't sweat the price, just enjoy!

When you go to use the Tabac cream, note that it lathers a little differently than most. Start with less water than you usually would, and then add a little at a time to build a great lather. I love the Tabac cream, and would hate for you to get a bad taste of it because it lathers a little differently than others. (At least it does for me.)
