What's new

Finally a blade that will cut my hair.

I tried feathers blade in my red tip tonight. What a clean shave that only took 20min and not 45. Very smooth shave to boot. It was the forth blade type I have tried. I was hoping that one of the less expensive blades would work real well but no LOL....

It is very nice to find something that will cut like I think they should. :w00t:

Congrats! I have yet to find a better razor to provide such smooth shaves. While they are not as cheap as most, they are still 100x better than buying Mach 3 or Fusion cartridges!

Regards,
Chase

I fear the feather. am I correct in assuming that the feather works best for those of you with coarser facial hair? I have sensitive skin so the red pack personnas do well for me. i'm afraid of a massive bloodletting should I use the feather.

Don't judge the Feather until you've used it for a week or so.
I get 2 good shaves, then the accumulated damage catches up and my skin breaks all out and I need to go back to a smoother blade for a while.

Don't fear the Feather my friend. Since using It my face is smooth as silk. As a matter of fact I get less nicks with Feathers then with less sharp blades.

Well I'm not a fan of Feathers. They are too harsh for me with repeated use. But I absolutely think they are worth trying.

If they don't work out for you, just stop mid shave, and change back to a blade that you know works. As I see it, you're only risking one nick, not your whole face.

You can't be a fully pledged B&B member without trying the dreaded feathers.
They don't work for me too harsh but everyone is different

Congrats on finding the right blade for you. :thumbup1: I'm still searching for just the right blade. It maybe Derby's but there are a few others I have to try.

Feathers worked fine on my head and cheeks, but left my neck a burned and bloody mess. Could have been my technique so I'm gonna give it another go and see what happens.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Feathers. I get a run of great shaves with them and then a couple of really bad shaves with irritation, burning and blood. I guess it could be that they don't work with every razor.
