What's new

feel like a bum asking but here I go anyway....

Like the title suggests, I feel pretty crappy asking this but would anyone consider sending me a decant of the other Pinaud scents (yes especially the Veg!!). I've got the bay rum, citrus musk, lime sec, and vanilla and love them all. I actually find myself sad around 10:30am when the scent starts to wear off. I wish I had something to trade but I'm new to this and haven't got a lot to offer. I'd be happy to pay the shipping.

Guys thanks for the link!!! I should be able to try everything that way AND be able to get past the TSA at the airport. BTW, what is everyone's opinion on the Pinaud Eau de Portugal as an aftershave?

I just bought a bunch of their samples, from the same source.
I'm most excited about the Veg and the Eau de Strychnine!

I know this is sort of short shrift as an answer to your aftershave inquiry but I will say that Pinuad's Eau de Portugal is one of their FINEST scents. Bright and bitter orange that is neither too soft nor too loud. It has a rich zest to it and smells almost naturally scented. I don't know about the a/s part but the scent lasts a long time on my hair. Which is what it really is, a tonic. I would also tell you the Pinaud/Clubman a/s splashes burn me worse than anything I have ever used! So I may not be a good judge of it as anything other than hair care product. It is so cheap it is not any issue to buy it. Try the samples.

I think I will give it a try!! Thanks for your advice.

Are they allowed to ship it USPS? Im not sure that alcohol products could be shipped that way?

USPS can ship alcohol for companies with a DOT-9275 exemption (not really sure about the exemption number). These allow alcohol in quantities up to 8 oz to be shipped via airmail. Not cost-effective for individuals, but for companies that ship fragrance, it's a good deal to get certified. Saves a lot of money on HAZmat shipping costs.
