I was looking for a Feather Portable. Found one US based seller on eBay. Unfortunately, I found his listing after the auction ended. I contacted him; turns out he is a senior member at SMF; I don't remember the exact amount, but, I purchased the BNIB razor for sub-$10, shipped.

He's on SMF as 'Pauldog.'

I bought mine here from Pauldog when I first joined. Good razor, great price. A shame he stopped selling on B&B but there you go.

I also bought one from pauldog on SMF for $9. It is my everyday razor. Good, well build and cheap.

Same here. To buy the The Feather portable from Pauldog was a good idea; non-expensive fine razor. One of my favourits in rotation!

As I recall Pauldog was banned from this site......so he didn't decide to stop selling here, he was forced to stop selling here. Pretty big difference I would say.

The mods really should look into not expunging all mention of banned sellers/members. I understand the rationale behind it (somewhat) but half the time the flock has no idea the missing sheep were wolves, if you get my drift.

I got my Portable from Paul just a few months ago. From a transaction standpoint everything went great. However, I attempted to engage him in some friendly banter during the proceedings, which he somehow completely mis-interpreted and some of his corresponding PMs were less than cordial. I thought I was trying to be friendly, he apparently thought I was a kook.

But the razor showed up quickly and I'm happy with the transaction, although I'd advise others to keep his conversations strictly business.

I think he sells on eBay but at higher price. I registered at SMF only for buying the Portable from him.
