Feather Popular first impressions

I recently started a thread asking about good options for a mild DE. I decided on the feather popular, and man, this thing is awesome! My only other razor is a parker 91r, and I was left unimpressed. To me, it's a bit difficult to get the blade to line up in the center, and it's just too heavy for my tastes. The feather is lightweight and gives the more mild shave I was looking for. I hope this grabs the attention of someone who's never used one, because they truly are awesome.

I think it's pretty good too.
The travel case is handy also. Strange how the more expensive razors don't have one.

I also have a Feather Popular. I use it for my head shaves. I've been experimenting with my other razors but this will still be a part of my head shave rotation.

I purchased a New Feather potable some time back with silver plated just like a Gillette tech. Now they have stopped production of that razor. As I have only opened the box just to see what's in, its still virtually NOS and I have no hart to use it.
When pondering to purchase a Feather popular I was drawn to Vintage Gillettes.
Well I have now missed the chance to experience both it seems since I'm planning to sell the portable soon.
But some day should try a popular and many claim it is nice.
