Feather AS-D2

Had my first shave with it this morning. I previously sold an AS-D1 because I just couldn't get a good shave with it. The D-2 is very mild, but definitely cuts the whiskers. Seems to shave very much like a tech, but without the tiny price tag. The build quality is excellent just as the D1 was. Will report back after a few more shaves.

Takes a while to "settle in" with any razor and see where it ranks.

Just got mine last week, Also got myself a better shave then the AS D-1 , Seems AS D-1 had some of ita flaws fixed and called the AS D-2 ? It is pretty Mild but i did get a Nice BBS Shave with my AS D-2, Looking forward to your shave reviews )

Yes just look at these pics i posted up, Scroll Down to about the 4Th Set of pics i took. AS D-1 is a little Darker and more Matt Finish in color, and the AS D-2 is a little more Brighter "Hyper Silver" in Color and a few minor Plate Changes. Even the Knurling on the Neck area is Different, Seems they Gave it one less Knurling around the Neck area, So yes this seems like a New Design Totally. To the eye it may not seem much but once you take a closer look you will see the Difference From AS D-1 Top and Bottom Plate, to the AS D-2 Top and Bottom Plates. Hope this Helps to answer your ? )

3-pass almost BBS shave this morning. Feels like I need to keep the blade angle very flat for it to work well.

I agree, it's very very Tech - like. But, with heft.
