Favorite razors with BUILT IN ANGLES?

I think they [injectors] died of because Gillette already cornered the market and everyone was used to DEs and the Injectors were just weird.
But injectors haven't died. Both Parker and Supply make modern injectors, and Amazon sells cheap Schick injector clones. And I hardly think anyone would buy vintage Schick injectors to shave with if there were no blades for them.

No actually it’s fact. This is why injector blades are a dying form of shaving razor blade, practically dead actually.
If in fact that's the case,
why aren't AC blades (and razors) dying?
The AC blade is identical to the injector blades but simply wider. Same exact shave!
I've got DE, AC, injector's and GEM's and none are harsh except for some particular brand of blades that don't agree with me.

To add:
Mossei & Asylum make them as well.
And plenty of injector blades as well like the Supply black & white label and Mossei blades too.

I'm assuming (probably incorrectly) that the Henson is the king of razors with built in angles.
I mostly use a Gillette Fatboy or Slim, but there are times I just like using one where I don't have to focus, like for my daily work shaves.
Lately I have discovered the awesomeness of the Schick Krona, and I'm using an NOS one I bought on ebay.
I started thinking about other built in razors that I have versus what I still want to try.

The ones I enjoy:

1. Henson ( I have all three in aluminum and + and ++ in Titanium)
2. Leaf Thorn and Twig.
3. Original Leaf (the one I shave my head with, I guess that counts as built in LOL. Still gives great face shaves)
4. Schick Injectors. (Haven't used them in a while, but love the adjustable especially)
5. Schick Krona - this one is built in, but not as much as the Henson. Gives room to work with, just wish it was a bit less mild.
6. The original Broman. Unfortunately the newer version was not so great for me.

I've heard there are others, like the Winning razor.
If you have something to recommend - I've had a bad case of RAD since 2006 LOL :straight:
I'll throw in another bunch that haven't been mentioned here:
Proof razor:

OneBlade razors:

Supply razors (yes it's an injector but a modern take on the injector)
supply.co

Asylum injector polished stainless (yet another modern injector and it's on sale this week for $100. My favorite injector!)

Mossei Injector (and another modern injector. The razor company sells them!)

Focus Dynamic R48 & R50 SE (Fendrihan sells them)

Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately I didn't mention the Proof because it and other aluminum razors (with the odd exception of the Hensons) drag across my skin like sandpaper no matter what soap/cream/etc I use, possibly due to bad water.
I'll have to look into the Asylum and Mossei.
I spent a crap ton of money on the Oneblades and just for whatever reason (that crappy proprietary Feather blade maybe) just didn't care for them.
Wish the Supply SE wasn't so mild, because I do love the razor.

The Asylum for me is the best injector.
Out of all the injector's, It gives me the closest & smoothest shave!
Not a true injector in the sense that it's got to be hand loaded (can't use the injector key since it's a 2 piece razor) but nevertheless it's still an injector.
The Mossei I got rid of because I found it to be overly aggressive. A beautifully crafted razor but too much for daily use.

My favorite would be the Leaf Thorn. For me it gives the perfect shave. I hardly ever use other razors now. The Parker SoloEdge is pretty good also but not quite as smooth as the Thorn.

I shaved a fortune
One of my first shaves with a blade was a borrowed Schick G8 from my mother.... I had cuts all over my face. I didn't know anything, didn't have a styptic pencil as I didn't know what they were and had small pieces of toilet paper stuck to my face.... I was 16 or so. I used the G8 for maybe 3 shaves before I gave up.... I started out with an electric as that was what my Dad used. I hated the burn I got from an electric razor.

I didn't know about shave angles, didn't get advice from anyone. I ended up borrowing a Gillette TTo my Mom had. That did work a bit better.... I used that until I graduated from HS and went off to Indonesia. I brought along a hated electric, not knowing, the Norelco electric wouldn't even work with the power there. I ended up just growing a beard for the two years I was there.

So back to the thread subject. Aluminum razors don't appeal to me so I've avoided getting a Henson. If Karve ever offers the Bison in a heavier metal, I might pick one of those up.

I've been planning on shaving with the two Schick injectors I inherited from my Mother... the aforementioned G8 and a blue handle G4. I also picked up a couple E3s for the unique handle designs. Now that I know they are a fixed angle razor, just as @MrFritz 's illustration demonstrates, I expect I'll have a much better chance of getting a bloodless shave with them. I do have a GEM Junior @spacemonkey42 gave me a while back. I need to try it as well.

The only razor I have and use frequently that seems to fit into the fixed angle category would be the Atelier DURDAN La Faulx... The AC head design favors a shallow angle with its protruding base plate safety bar. I've said this many times.... the La Faulx might be the best razor I've ever used... I have several that are tied in second place... very closely behind the La Faulx.

The Henson and Karve Bison, I love them both and wish they both had SS offerings. Whether you like it or not, the Henson is a pretty revolutionary design in wet shaving. Henson is perfect for those wanting an ultra safe shave like the cartridge razor. I am also a head shaver, so the Henson and Bison are perfect for a safe no thought required head shave early in the morning.

There are razors that have a built-in guide, but not necessarily on both the top cap and base plate, but just one of the two.

I'd also add Atelier Durdan No7, Blackland Vector and clones/derivatives, the Standard Razor, Yaqi Mecury, Fine Marvel, Fine DE5, dscosmetic, Liveben (sold by e.g. Yintal and Francis), The Goodfellas' Smile Syntesi, PAA META-4.
Reggie's Razors Jupiter has a tiny guide as well.
Alpha Outlaw Evo, Edwin Jagger DE 89, Merkur 33C (and similar heads). Probably Dovo Primo as well.
