Fat Badger

Probably the most awesome brush display pics I've seen, especially the Fat Bastard one. Also, that 16mm looks like a "wee baby" next to the 30mm monster.

I think the 30mm should tell the 16mm to "GET IN MY BELLY!!"

Funny! Pull the string on the back of Fat Bastard and that's one of the things he says

If you ever have to paint a house... Seriously it looks great

Might be a bit big for house painting:lol:

Where the heck did you find that handle ?

Heck, I tried to sell it once: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=200992 , but it didn't sell, so I decided to use it.

Would be difficult to face lather, but it just might work. Looks like a lather hog though, lots of air in the middle.

That is exactly what I am looking for! Great looking brush, how did you like using it? I don't know if any of the handles I have will support a 30mm but I am going to start looking now!
Thanks for posting this.

Good luck Dave and if you find one, please let me know. I have pretty much given up hope of finding one in the wild.
None of the handles I have seen would have been able to handle 30mm.

Set at 50mm loft. The TGN grade A 30s are the quentisential face lathering brush.
plenty of backbone and a joy to use.
Got 4 in the works as we speke:)

This is what I found from TGN.com Brush handle blank and 30mm Silver tip badger knot. About 100 bucks all together. Figure I could assemble it myself and call it my first. First I got to get rid of some stuff on the BST before I buy more.

EDIT Knot link wasn't working http://www.thegoldennib.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9_42&products_id=491

Yeah, I saw those. I was talking about a 30mm vintage, especially with butterscotch in it somewhere.
Had I of seen the listing by Othermoe, I would have snapped it up. I think at the time I was ignorant of the joys of large brushes.

Just finished this bad 30 today:)
