Hi, Newbie to the forum and DE shaving.
Been looking to get into DE shaving for a little while now, after youtubing a lot of videos I came across GEOFATBOYs posts and found he has a website called shavenation.com. After doing a lot of research I found them to have pretty good prices for what I was looking for so I went along with my order. Have any of you used them before and if so what is your experience with the seller/site? I was somewhat concerned that I never received an e-mail to confirm my purchase, as well as list my tracking info. I have left a message and VM without return. Feedback on his site is top notch and very recent as well. I am sure it is legit and all, just used to getting a response as well as confirmation email etc.

Just looking for anyone input, hope to learn even more via this site.

I usually try to buy from B&B Vendors.

I've purchased items from them before, have actually spoken with Geo before as well. Have only had good experiences with them, fast shipping and I usually do receive confirmation emails as well as shipping emails from them.

I'm assuming you have checked your SPAM folder etc.

Yes it was in my "junk" folder which I found interesting cause usually e-mail from different places don't tend to end up there unless I have tagged them to go there, I used a certain email just for orders so I guess I am not all that familiar with it. Glad I found my tracking/order info.
Geo seems like a good guy, has some great videos and other informational stuff out there on shaving, hopefully the "kit" I got from him is a great start, and something I can build off of. I personally would have prefered the Merkur 34c due to the shorter handle, but then again this is my first DE so who knows.

I have purchased an international order since i live in Brazil, everything went pretty well, just didn't like the contact too much, too late responding emails, but everything went pretty well, i order one strop, and that was it, i never bought again, i dont know why, i think i'm sticking with the things i really need plus it has to be on sale or clearence , but yes... I have been buying more from stores that get along with this forum, but nothing wrong with shavenation. i think its gonna be allright.

Welcome to the B&B! I ordered from him the Friday before Christmas and received my items on the 26th, so he definitely came through for me. Everything was packaged carefully and came out perfectly, so I definitely recommend Geo's site. Hope this helps.

I'm with you nick/cut...however some don't search out great deals and some expect quality service and are willing to pay for it. For ex...Bullgoose's pricing is often more expensive than other shaving sites. However he is most likely the best vender we have...sends personal emails, extremely fast shipping, and is always great to resolve any issues. ex...last year I ordered a tub of Trumper GFT from a seller on eBay and saved about $6 vs the prices from my fav 2 sellers. I wasn't happy with the transaction or seller and didn't feel like wasting my time with eBay buyer protection and so on. If I was willing to spend the extra money I would have had a much more pleasant experience with our venders and probably wouldn't have received a tub of cream that I wasn't sure if it had been opened. I've never ordered from shavenation...but expect a better experience when you spend extra $.

Another ex of a great vendor is 3 posts up...I have ordered Captains Bay Rum Aftershave. I passed it onto a friend because I learned that I'm not a bay rum fan. However...another great vendor that is worth ever penny.
