Ever smoke a pipe while eating?

I was just watching the beginning of Lord of the Rings - Return of the King and two of the hobbits were smoking pipes and eating salt pork.

Eating AND smoking? At the same time? We're allowed to do that?? If so, any eating while smoking combos y'all can suggest?

I did a couple of mornings back when SWMBO make breakfast during my morning bowl. I've snacked on beef jerky at the same time too. Great movie by the way.

It is customary to nibble on sweets or apetizers and drink tea or turkish style coffee while smoking a hookah. The combination works pretty well, too. I often have stuffed grape leaves while smoking grape flavored shisha, or drink Turkish apple tea while smoking apple or double apple shisha.

I just can't do it. I can smoke it while cooking, but I guess I'm just not that talented! I find that I'll snack on something, then the pipe goes out and when I relight I get that big surge and then the snack doesn't taste as good.

Can totally imbibe and smoke though!!! Boubon and pipe tobacco are good friends...

They were smoking "Hobbit's weed", we can only speculate on what that is but it wasn't tabacco, it might have made them hunger .

Deer jerky is my favorite snack while having a pipe. Beef jerky is okay, but venison is the absolute best.
