That knot just climbed out of the handle all by itself, didn't it??!! Too easy!
Personally, I like to remove any metal rings that I find in the handles. They're not needed (they were used to hold the original knot together) and could, over the years, start to corrode...leading to staining of the bristles or handle. If you can remove it without damaging the handle, I recommend doing it.Sure did, I just need to decide if the metal band inside the handle needs to come out or not.
