ern junior "the ringer"

hey,
i was wondering if anybody has come across this razor? ...

my dad found it in some flea-market or some place. i wanted to know if it's a decent razor. going to try and get it sharpened professionally, see if it'll work fine. the blade has the marking "the ringer" and on the shank, "pearcy", the scales are metallic, and are marked with, "ern junior razor" on the sides, on the end of the scales: "german silver" and on the other side: "made in u.s.a. pat's apl'd for"

what are your thoughts/experiences with this razor?

I cannot help you, but that is a cool razor. The scales are quite something and I love the name - "The Ringer"

I know nothing about the razor but looks like it is labeled "The Bell Ringer". On the scale of self aggrandizing labels this sounds a few notches above Wade & Butcher's "The Celebrated". I like it.
