Has anyone purchased from the English Shaving Co.? I'm looking at a couple of str8 razors that are on sale right now. While they show the Edwin Jagger name in the blade they are produced by Dovo.

So my question is, if you purchased a straight from them is it just a factory edge that will need honing or does the English Shaving Co. do the honing for you? Also, how are they to deal with?

I haven't purchased from them myself, at least not yet, but TESC has a good reputation around here.

They offer a great selection, fair prices, and good service.

I've purchased from them. They're a great retailer. I've had things shipped from the UK to NY that were cheaper and arrived quicker than items purchased from US retailers. Once I had a problem with an item. They quickly sent a free replacement.

The English Shaving Company is exceptional, their service is above and beyond. Fast delivery, pleasant folks to correspond with, and high quality merchandise.

Also, the price for us is less than shown on the website once the vat taxes are subtracted.

I can't speak to their straights, but I have ordered 6 or 7 times from them over the past 4 years. Always been delighted.

I would suggest you drop them a quick note - they have always been responsive to my inquiries.

Their service is excellent , i bought the ebony handled razor and use their shave balms. It did benefit from a honing tho.
