EJ Brushes

I have the medium silver tip in black. Cost around $110.00. Excellent brush as far as I'm concerned. I use it for soaps and creams. You can get it for less than I paid with free shipping right now from The English Shaving Company (no VAT)

My very first brush was a Jagger best badger brush. I have had excellent luck with it. It works well with both soaps and creams.

+1. Definitely go with the medium or large size.

I currently use an EJ BBB medium brush. It is very soft and I do like it very much. Honestly though, I expected it to have more backbone. But for $32, it was a great deal! I have only tried a Tweezerman brush before this one. I am relatively new to DE shaving - only for about 4 months now. My experience with brushes as you can see is quite limited. I would still recommend the EJ BBB in Medium. I use soap by the way.

I have been also curious about the qualities of the more expensive Super and Silver Tip EJ brushes. Anyone else feel free to chime in...

I have the EJ Medium BBB and have owned and EJ Super Medium, which I subsequently sold. I liked the Med Super, but sold it as part of a set. For the money, EJ brushes are solid!

I couldn't resist the free shipping option, so I pulled the trigger on a Small Super Faux Horn brush to use for travel... $40 shipped!

Go for the Silvertip, really soft but still not "floppy". If you live in Europe, you can get a Mühle with the exact same knot for cheaper.
Mine is a 23mm (Mühle classic faux horn)

I just pulled the trigger on the EJ Medium BBB. At The English Shaving Company I paid $28 and some change for this shipped to my house. I was on the fence about this or the Wee Scott. If I don't like it I'll just throw it on the B/S/T and get the Wee Scott. Can't wait to have this show up in the mail by the end of next week.

I have several in silvertip and best; :thumbup:they are very classy and wonderful brushes especially the extra large silvertop horn. It is like an heirloom that you pass down; and I bought a mach 3 razor with the fat handle.

I have a Medium Silvertip with the faux horn handle. Great brush. If you prefer smaller brushes go with the EJ medium because it is a pretty small brush.
