EdT (Cologne) friendly aftershaves

For you cologne guys, what AS do you use that is lightly scented that won't clash with colognes?

Or what heavily scented AS's pair well with certain colognes?

I find that Speick, apart from being a terrific aftershave, has a light scent that fades fairly fast. This is unfortunate, however, as I love the way it smells.

I use Boosters aftershaves a lot. They smell nice but are not long lasting* and don't interfere with my cologne selections.


*With the exception of the Mosswood. That one has some longevity.

Tüff Sensitiv. Only available in what formerly was East Germany. The perfect AS for this sort of thing: cheap, soothing, and a very faint and fleeting herbal fragrance.

If you're going splash, Adidas Dynamic Pulse. Its a great aftershave and the scent is so subtle it doesnt clash. I got mine at Riteaid.

Tuff is made without parfume so the very weak herbal scent lasts about 10 minutes and then it smells like air.

But the I dislkie the top note it smells very strong like cheap alcohol and after a half minute it disaperas. But this half minte is ugly.
I could maybe be a good idea to add a aromachemical wich lasts only an few Seconds to cover the alcohol scent in the top.

GFT offers a unparfumated Skin Food ,wich I do not know, maby this would fit.

You looking for a splash or a balm? Most of the aftershave balms out there fade very quickly. Some of my favories are Proraso ASB, QED (any scent), Nivea, The Gentlemens Refinery.

I've found aqua velva original splash to fade very quickly on me and it's a great aftershave.

On days I want to put an extra spray of cologne I use the witch hazel or barbasol pacific rush, both have a very weak scent, the witch hazel goes away extremely quickly.

Speick is a great aftershave and the scent doesn't linger, though I wish it would.
