Eau de Parfum for men?

I have a bottle of Burberry London Eur de Parfum that I bought recently while abroad in another country(was cheap)... it didn't occur to me this was the EAU DE PARFUM. Now is this strictly a woman's fragrance? I'm not sure of the terminology... far as I know EdT=Men EdP=Woman. It's just sitting there unused and I'm not sure what to do with it.

Eau de Parfum only speaks to the strength of the fragrance, not the gender it was created for.

Some houses do release an Eau de Parfum concentration for men, but unfortunately the Burberry you purchased is indeed marketed to women and not the men's version that gets talked about quite frequently on the boards. Burberry only made London as an EdT marketed specifically for men as is typically the norm for most designer offerings.

yea it smells nice, just don't want to put it on and have people give me strange looks. Oh well.. maybe it'll make a nice gift..

Regarding EDP - it as nothing to do with gender, only strength and concentration of the frag.

Try it! Only you will know which bottle it came from. Oft times EdP and EdT have slightly different note concentrations, and many times people prefer one over the other for that reason. If one checks on Basenotes, many times you find men enjoying "women's" fragrances and women enjoying "men's" fragrances.

good point john...just because it's marketed for Women, doesn't mean it won't work for us.

If it smells good, I say go for it.

Tom Ford Grey Vetiver is an EDP. It tends to has a stronger scent and much more staying power.
