Dumb Kohler Toliet Commerical

This has got to be one of the dumbest wonders of the marketing world I've ever run across. There are so many things wrong with this commerical it isn't funny...... from the boys running into the bathroom while their mother is taking a bath, to the creepy way the mother looks at the boys as they jockey around at the toliet while they take a ****, to the boys putting the seat down and washing their hands at the sink afterward (like that ever occurs to a 4 year old boy naturally).

What were they thinking over at Kohler?

They were thinking, "Hmmm, lemme see - how can we showcase all of our products in a twenty second spot..."

Tub - check.

Toilet - check.

Slowly closing toilet seat - check.

Sink - check.

"Nawww, the images aren't of concern - just put on some gentle background music with a voiceover and a couple of cute boys with their mom in a tub."

Needs milk and a bidet!
do people still soak in bathtubs?

I'm a guy so maybe I don't get it.

get in the shower and get out.

Hey if they have a master bathroom that big (which is bigger than my house) then I'm sure they must have other ones they kids can use.

I didn't think it was that bad. It certainly wasn't the worst commercial I've seen.

I'm with you on this one...with the exception of a mom who thought it was cute....if you replaced that woman with my wife, with a mean torqued off demeanor once the kids came in because they were ruining her one time in the day to have some privacy and a quiet moment...and then the kids peed on the floor, floor mats and left the towel on the floor and were screaming the whole time....that would be about right

I wonder if Kohler is trying to insinuate that their bathtubs can double as beds..... the way dad turned the light off for mom..... looked like she was going to take a snooze.

I don't see anything wrong with it, seems like a normal commercial to me.

What's creepy about it?

Or maybe just enjoy her tub soak, like so many do, in low light. Perfectly normal commercial as far as i'm concerned and I don't see anything "dumb" about it. Like I said in another thread about this, if someone puts up lines to read between we can convince ourselves of anything.

Well, at least you know what they are advertising. Some commercials today I cannot even tell what they are trying to sell. Even if I can understand what product they are advertising, I have no idea what the commercial had to do with the product. Getting old I guess.
