Dubl duck experts

Hello all,

So I’ve done a lot of research on the dubl duck dwarf and special No. 1 and I’ve only come up with the difference being that the No. 1 was marketed more to the barbers out there . Is this true ? And what is the real difference between them ? Is one more rare than the other ? Any Information is appreciated.

I've had a few Dubl Ducks but am not an expert. I've always felt that the No. 1 was just as good as the others only that it didn't have fancy scales and therefore was less expensive. Different Soligen razor makers were used to make these razors, only I haven't noticed much difference in the razors I've had. They've all been good shavers, but not necessarily any better than any other quality Solingen. I have no experience with the dwarf.
