I don’t know if I’d be considered an expert but my cellar is probably about half bulk and half tins with maybe a slight edge to bulks.
Most bulks are stored in quart jars for the long term and 4oz jelly jars serve as the “smoking baccy”. I usually fill the 4oz jars up with as much as I can cram into them when I’m initially jarring the tobacco. Unless it’s something like LBF or Bobs Chocolate Flake that I smoke a lot the quart size jars stay closed for a long time because I’m just pulling tobacco out of the jelly jar.
