Do you change AS seasonally?

I'm really loving wearing Aqua Velva in the crisp Fall; I think Old Spice is more of a Winter AS for me; I often go without AS in the Summer. Does anyone match their fragrance to the seasons?

Most certainly; there are soaps as well as aftershaves that I mostly use depending on the weather. Pashana, OS and Tabac are typical automn/winter scents for me while IM and AV are more for springtime. Bay rum is great on summer, especially during vacation (with campfires in mind). On really, really hot days nothing compares to Florida Water after a shave with Arko.

I have not been wetshaving or using AS for a full year yet but I am gearing up for the winter. Anything menthol and light during the summer and warm non menthol during the winter.

Absolutely.

Although I love to experiment with new scents and sometimes change things up on a whim, the backbone of my rotation is as follow:

Winter: Tabac
Spring: Musgo Real
Summer: Proraso
Fall: Spieck

I tend to use my AS based on their healing abilities, so the Speick and the Proraso are used if I have been a bit over eager. The Tabac, Brut and Old Spice et al when I feel like their scents and AV divides the two groups.

I do change my scents for different times of the year, but I use my After Shave Balms, Splashes and Witch Hazel the whole year. As far as Colognes go, the citrussy, fresh scents will now get a break to be replaced by leather, spicy and woody notes for the cooler weather.
Of course: Alt Innsbruck is always in season!

I tend to use more alcohol based splashes in the summer, and balms in the winter. My face is drier in the winter months when the air is drier.

Doesnt really matter for me. I guess I tend to use C&E Nomad a bit more now that the weather is cold. It's a great scent for this time of year.

Other than that, I use whatever. I used proraso cream and asb the other day. Felt good even though it was 38 outside :bored:

If anything, maybe the citrus stuff is saved for summer.

I change the type to some extent. In the winter I am able to wear the balms whereas I am not in the hot and humid seasons.

I definitely change scents with the seasons. Spring and Autum, is usually Vetiver and Neroli, Winter is tobacco, leather and Summer is Lime and fresh citrus.

no seasonal variation here; i use clubman bay rum a good 85% of the time. other bay rums and the occasional old spice fill in the cracks. :thumbup1:

Not much variation but I tend to like the Bay Rums during the winter periods and the menthols/citrus' during the warmer months...
