I have a list of razors below in my signature and 34C is my best shaver. I alternate it with my other razors every other day. So it is in 50% usage.
I cannot recall the last time I used it. At some point, it and others will end up on the B/S/T- no use holding on to it when someone else can benefit from it more.
I traded mine away after about three months of wetshaving. It was a great razor for what it was, and I may even get another at some point, but Merkurs just don't shave as well for me. Dunno why
I started with the HD after 20 years of cartridges, using it for about a year. Then I started collecting and got 7 razors but now I noticed that the HD is still my number 2 razor, its just not as good as the Progress. But, I am never going to sell it.
Technically I have a 38c, but I don't see myself replacing it anytime soon. I may eventually get into the vintage razor AD, but I like to think of myself as a little too practical for multiple razors (I'm totally kidding myself though ).
With as long as DE razors last, I could see it as something I hang on to for the rest of my life, or pass along to a son or friend someday.
While it is no longer the daily shaver, it is my standard benchmarking razor. I use the slant, fatboy, ss flair tip. goodfella, but the HD is the one to use for blade testing.
My SOTD was the Godrej Shave Round + HD + Wilkinson Sword Premium Plus blade from Gillette India !
Not really. Maybe once in the past two weeks. I keep forgetting about it, then I give it s spin and think, eh, it's pretty good, maybe I won't get rid of it....I'm going to end up getting rid of it eventually, though.
