Do barber hones crack easily when dropped?

Do barber hones crack easily when dropped? I have one oil stone that is very fragile. Thanks.

I would assume that any hone would break pretty easy if dropped. That's just a guess because i'm not about to try it lol

i would suspect, yes

though i once dropped an egg from shoulder height (fumbled it out of the fridge) and it bounced and was fine, so who knows.

I never tried, but I suspect so. The are very hard & chip easily hence they would most probably break if dropped from your hands.
I also suspect that a Naniwa or coticule or almost any type of hone would break, minus the DMT of course
