Just received my lot of razors from Turkey. 3 of six are shave ready but I don't want to use them with out first disinfecting / sterilizing them. What is the proper way as not to hurt the razor? All are synthetic handles.

I just wash my razors with soap and water.

A soak in Barbicide is the way to go. But, you can also soak in Scrubbing Bubbles, which has the same ingredient as Barbicide.

If you don't have Barbicide, you can use isopropyl alchohol. It won't sterilize the blade but will disinfect and sanitize quite well.
