With all the discussion about the different versions of the Georgetown scuttle, I don't know if anyone has realized that the Moss has also changed.
I picked up an older Moss here on the B/S/T (and love it!). I recently ordered a new Moss. When I got it, I found that it was ever-so slightly smaller than my other one (overall). Then I noticed that the inner bowl was different. It was a bit narrower and deeper. I wasn't sure if this was just the natural variation from these being hand made, so I e-mailed and asked. Sarah Bonnerman responded and said that she had made some changes based on customer input, resulting in a slightly different scuttle.
Its still a great scuttle, don't' get me wrong, but it has changed a little bit.
I find it still keeps the lather warm, but I prefer the older bowl for mixing. Anyone else notice this?
