Decisions, decisions!

Bought a red tip from a fellow B&B member, won a gillette SS on eBay also won a Gem Junior and a Rolls Razor in really good condition on eBay. All of these were seperate transactions on differant days. Problem is they all arrived today! Which one do I use first? Wonder how my skin would feel if I shaved four times today..........

Any advise?

What year is your super speed?

This is where I would start....

Swing by the nearest Walgreens, grab some GEM/Personna blades and fire up that GEM. Go slow, use very little pressure and find out how great the single edge shavers work.

I went with the Gem, absolutely loved it. I have been DE shaving for about two months with good success. Have been using a HD a slant and a 1904 open comb and enjoy shaving with all of them (unless I am using a Feather, don't like em at all).
How do you tell what year a SS is?

Look for a date code under the bottom plate. I believe mine says N2. Go here to find out the year it was produced.

It has no date code so if I am reading this right it was made prior to 1951. Cool! Not done cleaning it up yet but it is in real good shape.
