De-scenting a Trumpers soap bowl

Is it possible to de-scent a Trumpers soap bowl? I have an empty bowl that had rose in it, but don't want rose, maybe violet instead. I've rinsed it a few times, but it's still a little rosy.

I'm sure that if you put a new soap in there, the rosy scent will be no longer noticeable after a few days.

I've always found the best way to do this is to wipe out the bowl with a damp cloth and body soap, then wipe again with plain water a couple of times, and leave open for a day to air dry.

You might try dusting it with baking soda and letting it set for a few days.

You could also leave it out in the sun for a few days.

Also, if you have a pet store that sells fish nearby, you might be able to get some cheap activated charcoal. That'll work a lot better than baking soda, but is more expensive. ( you can, however, more easily reuse it )
