Daugher's birth celebration cigar?

My daughter was born yesterday morning and everything went fine for both mom and baby...so of course I now need to focus on the next important thing: What should be my celebratory smoke?! :tongue_sm I'm just getting better from a cold too, so it's been a good solid 2 weeks since I've had either a cigar or a pipe, so I need something special.

The Padron '26 Annie is awesome; I'm also very partial to the '64 Anniversary, in maduro, of course! IMO, two of the best cigars made. There are many choices; how many, and how much do you want to spend? The first two are somewhat pricey, but there are many cigars in the $4-$10 price range that are excellent. Medium or full-bodied? So many choices!!

Oh yeah, Congratulations!

(Hey dude, if you want to PM me your addy, I might find it in my heart to send a few sticks to welcome you to fatherhood-what a great journey!!)

Special Occasion calls for Padron 1964 Maduro, tastes great like a 1926, but wont cost you as much and with a new baby you probably need to be squirling away some cash.

I was going to suggest the 1926, but mmcrrc has convinced me with his ninja logic that a 1964 will fit the bill. Congratulations to the OP!

Montecristo No. 2. A Cuban Montecristo No. 2, that is.

Congrats and felicitations for your new daughter! Is this your first or does she have a sibling or two?

The Padrons mentioned above are sure winners. Another full-bodied smoke that I like when I feel like a treat is the Diamond Crown #7 Maduro.

Looks like Padron seems to be favored choice here. Looks like I'm going to have to visit my local B&M later this week. I'm off to finally bring mom and daughter home today!

Wow, very generous of you wilsondude, but I don't know if I technically qualify for your generosity since this is my second child. I also have a 3-year-old boy, only I didn't pick up the cigar/pipe hobby when he was first born. I've only started smoking cigar recently, so am still feeling my way around different cigar brands.
