Dating Gillete Techs

When did Gillette first introduce the Tech? Where do you look for the date code? How many varieties of the Tech were made? I have a typical Tech that I assume was from the 50's. I just purchased an older tech that was gold plated at one time ( some of the plating reamians) The logo on the head is in a triangle. The handle is longer and heavier then my other tech. Any ideas on the date?

My British aluminium-handled Tech doesn't have a date code anywhere on it.
