Like the title says, it seems I've missed the rush on the QED soaps, especially the Rose/Sandalwood group buy...

What is all the fuss about?

Looking on the QED site, which took me a while to find for some odd reason with my usually top-notch Google sleuthing skills, I noticed almost all the flavors are gone.

Do any other vendors sell QED, or should I just hang around the Mall here and try to find some for sale?

Yep, which is why I love Classicshaving.net, and I like Lee's too, but have never ordered from them.

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why Charles has such a crappy website. It is really quite sad, his customer service and products are beyond compare.

If you really want to purchase something from him, give him call on the phone or shoot him an email. You'll want to set aside a better part of an hour if you call as Charles is a talker (in a really good way).

Charles is working on a new, MUCH improved website. Unfortunately it's not yet live. For his sake, I hope he takes it online sooner rather than later!

QED should still have plenty of soaps for sale, just not the scents in the group buy. As mentioned, buying from QED can be a bit of a ... um ... unique experience ... but it's sort of a rite of passage here.

So go buy a tub of QED!

Don't rely on the website. You need to call Charles directly.

You couldn't ask for a more helpful guy than Charles, and he carries (and makes) fantastic products. They are absolutely worth it to figure out how to get through his website. He doesn't update it as diligently as you might be accustomed to, so e-mail or call him to find out what he has in stock.

Whenever I'm looking for something I check with Charles first, then go elsewhere if he doesn't have it.

If you're right, that would make my day. Charles sells great soaps (I prefer them to soaps that cost two to three times as much) but his website probably loses him a good amount of business.
