Damascus blades for 10 euros?

Gentlemen:

I have a friend on another forum --living in France-- who showed me auction links today with damascened steel blades in wooden scales for ten euro or so

Does anyone know anything about these? My shaver sense is tingling about damascus blades for 18 bucks.

If there are known concerns about these sellers, I would like to pass them back to Jean.
