D.R. Harris Mayfair

I am looking for a good hot weather cologne from one of the British barbershop houses, for the 1-2 months it gets above 85 here in Washington and stumbled upon Mayfair by DRH. I can't find any reviews anywhere and every place that sells it has the same copy/pasted description of the fragrance. The name and bottle seems pretty appealing but how is the scent? Please keep in mind that I like strength and longevity year round, i'm just looking for a good cologne for the warmest months from the British houses.

I would check out Penhaligons English Fern...a classic fougere which I really like during the warm months.

I don't have the mayfair, but I have samples of DRH Arlington, Windsor and Malborough. The longevity is around 4++ hours, which is fine by me as I am desk-bound in the office, and prefer to re-apply (just so I can get 'high' on fresh dosage)

I would probably go with a citrus fragrance, GFT from Trumper.

I wear DR Harris Traditional when it's warm and it seems to last 3-4 hours, it has a nice citrus scent.

I wore GFT this year. I think I would prefer a floral (ie Lavender or Fern) over a citrus dominated fragrance.

I would probably go with a citrus fragrance, GFT from Trumper.
